A Message of Gratitude to Palm Garden Caregivers from President and CEO Rob Greene

The Palm Garden Leadership team is excitedly cheering together outside of a facility.

To all the Palm Garden Healthcare leaders and caregivers, thank you for being in our centers on the busiest days, on weekends, and on holidays. Thank you for proving, day after day, that mission-driven, compassionate care isn’t a slogan on a wall. It is a living promise, carried out in your hands, your heart, and your actions.

The Palm Gaden mission comes to life in moments that few outside our care centers ever see. It’s you, the nurse who stays a little longer to listen to a worry. It’s you, the CNA, who notices a change in the condition of a guest or resident and does something about it. The Chaplains who provide spiritual and emotional support. The therapist who celebrates a first step like it’s a gold medal. The housekeeper who makes a room feel safe and dignified. The Plant Ops team who keeps us up and running, through storms and emergencies. The leaders who set the center’s pace and guide their team. The Palm Healthcare Management team for making sure our centers are supported and positioned for success. And Mrs. McCarver for having the courage years ago to place Palm Garden in the position we are in today.

This is what mission looks like when it’s real. It is celebrating each person’s life story. It is dignity in every encounter. It is excellence measured not only in outcomes and surveys, but in the smiles and the trust you build. Compassion is strong. It is discipline. And you deliver it naturally.

I recently heard a family member say, “You didn’t just care for my mom; you cared about my mom.” That is the difference you make.

On behalf of the lives you’ve touched, the families you’ve comforted, and the team members you’ve strengthened, thank you. Thank you for being the steady presence, the kind voice, the skilled hands, and the courageous hearts that define Palm Garden.

May you be reminded that what you do changes the world—one person, one moment, one act of compassion, at a time.

Now, take credit for helping these single moms and their children. Through your hard work at Palm Garden, you give them the promise of hope, healing, and opportunity.

I love and appreciate you.

Thank you.
