We have an open visitation policy and encourage you to visit often and regularly. We do ask if you are experiencing signs and symptoms of an illness that you refrain from visiting until you have recovered. Our care centers may be secured for safety purposes however each care center has signage directing you to the appropriate entrance for after-hours visitation. If you have specific visitation questions or need additional assistance, please call our care center at (941) 952-9411 and we would be happy to assist you.
How do I find out about activities provided for guests and residents?
We tailor social programs and activities to match the capabilities and needs of guests and residents. Remaining active and engaged is central to the healing process. Our activities include musical performances, current events updates, fitness activities, stretching exercises, religious meetings and service led by Palm Garden Chaplains, outside entertainment, games, trivia, and volunteer involvement. A monthly calendar is posted to keep all informed of upcoming events. Volunteers, friends, and families are welcome to visit and attend our activities and special events.
Can my loved one receive mail?
Mail is delivered to residents personally on a daily basis except for weekends and holidays.

Consider using our Send a Greeting feature on the website. Just type the recipient’s name and type your message. When it arrives in our email box we will print it and hand-deliver it to your loved one.
Is smoking permitted in the facility?
For the safety and welfare of our guests, residents and team members, we do not permit smoking.
Is it okay to bring family pets when visiting?
Yes if they have all their shots current and are on a leash.

Yes, we have beauty and barber shop services.

Yes, we offer Internet WiFi free for residents and their guests.
What telephone access is available for residents and their families?
There are telephone hookups in each room. We can assist in getting a phone line with the local phone company.
Are televisions available?
Yes, we have televisions in every room.
Is cable TV available?
We offer access to cable TV for all residents in their rooms. Please call our front desk for details.
Outpatient Therapy FAQs
How do I get started with outpatient therapy?
If you are currently receiving inpatient therapy at our rehabilitation center, your therapist can provide information on outpatient therapy services. If you are not a resident of our rehabilitation center, please contact your physician to obtain a prescription for therapy services. Our team will be happy to assist you with this.
How do I make an appointment for therapy?
Simply call our care center to schedule an appointment.
What does outpatient therapy cost?
Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance may cover all or part of your therapy costs. Please contact your insurance provider or speak to someone in our business office for details.
